CLIMAL’India ha tre stagioni principali: estate, inverno e la stagione dei monsoni.
I mesi estivi (aprile-giugno) sono caldi in gran parte dell’India. E’ la stagione più adatta per visitare le stazioni climatiche di Shimla, Mussoorie, Naimtal, Kufri e della valle del Kashmir, Darjeeling, Shillong e il Monte Abu. I mesi invernali (novembre-marzo) sono piacevli in tutta l’India. Nelle pianure settentrionali ed ai piedi dell’Himalaya la stagione è più rigida, mentre le regioni a est, a ovest ed a sud sono gradevolmente fresche. I monsoni arrivano all’inizio di giugno nell’India sud-occidentale e gradualmente in tutto il paese ad eccezione delle zone sud-orientali. In queste zone si ha la più alta piovosità tra metà ottobre e la fine di dicembre.
